Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sports facility management.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, and operations in a sports facility
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Passion for sports, fitness, and promoting healthy lifestyles.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Good English communication skills

Job Description:

  • Oversee daily operations of the sports center, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Manage and supervise all sport center programs (pool, tennis, badminton, basketball, futsal, etc.)
  • Lead and develop staff performance across all departments
  • Coordinate with marketing team for program promotions and membership growth
  • Monitor facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety compliance
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction
  • Plan and execute events, classes, and activities in line with the center’s goals
  • Prepare reports and ensure all operational targets are achieved

 

Facility Operations & Maintenance

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the entire sports center
  • Schedule and supervise regular cleaning, preventive maintenance, and safety inspections for all equipment and facility areas.
  • Coordinate repairs and upgrades in collaboration with vendors, contractors, and facility maintenance staff.
  • Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and national health and safety regulations.

Staff Management & Development

  • Lead, schedule, and evaluate the performance of staff.
  • Provide training and motivation to improve service quality.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, schedule staff shifts, and manage payroll records in coordination with HR.

Program Development & Delivery

  • Develop and manage sports and fitness programs based on member needs and current trends.
  • Create an annual calendar of activities, events, and community programs.

Membership Services & Customer Experience

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with members and guests to encourage participation and retention.
  • Resolve complaints and incidents promptly and professionally.

Financial & Reporting

  • Prepare operational and budget reports (facility usage, revenue, expenses).
  • Assist in the planning and control of the Sport Center’s annual budget.

Marketing, Promotion & Community Engagement

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote Sport Center programs and facilities.
  •  Support membership sales and retention goals.
